New Members

We are so excited that have two new students from two different departments as an OSCAR program.

Andrew Sachs

B.S.  Ecological Sustainability, George Mason University, (Expected 2017).Andy Sachs is a Junior from Leesburg, VA. He is an Integrative Studies major with an independent concentration in Ecological Sustainability through New Century College. He is the Undersecretary for Sustainability for GMU Student Government, the Member Educator of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a founding member of the GMU Community Cultivation Center (community garden), an alumni of the GMU Sustainability Living Learning Community, a member of the Rain Project Student Leadership Group, and interned with Angler Environmental.

 

 

 

Chanel Tiffany Hardy

B.S. Environmental Science, George Mason University, (Expected 2016).Chanel is a senior at George Mason University, she interned as a Water Resources Engineer at GKY & Associates, Inc., a civil engineering consulting firm in Chantilly, VA. There she assessed a wide variety of structural stormwater management facilities and infrastructures as well as documented, formulated and presented reports of stormwater management facility conditions in the county of Fairfax. Previously, Chanel was a Conservation and Education Team Intern with the National Wildlife Federation. Chanel is also an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers
