Dr. Paul R. Houser
Dr. Paul Houser, joined the George Mason University Climate Dynamic Program and the Geography and Geoinformation Sciences Department as professor of Global Hydrology, and formed CREW( The Center for Research for Environment and Water). Dr. Houser has also teamed with groundwater development and exploration companies (Earthwater Global and Geovesi) and has served as Science Advisor to the U>S>Bureau of Reclamation. Dr Houser has led numerous scientific contributions, including the development of Land Data Assimilation Systems (LIS), the NASA Energy and Water cycle Study (NEWS), and the Water Cycle Solutions Network (WaterNet).

Lisa LaCivita is Doctoral candidate in Environmental Science and Policy, her research interests include biodiversity conservation, aquatic communities, sustainability and ecosystem services. She also worked as a fishing and river guide on West Virginia’s New River.

He is the Undersecretary for Sustainability for GMU Student Government, the Member Educator of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a founding member of the GMU Community Cultivation Center (community garden), an alumni of the GMU Sustainability Living Learning Community, a member of the Rain Project Student Leadership Group, and interned with Angler Environmental.

Chanel is a senior at George Mason University, she interned as a Water Resources Engineer at GKY & Associates, Inc., a civil engineering consulting firm in Chantilly, VA. There she assessed a wide variety of structural stormwater management facilities and infrastructures as well as documented, formulated and presented reports of stormwater management facility conditions in the county of Fairfax. Previously, Chanel was a Conservation and Education Team Intern with the National Wildlife Federation. Chanel is also an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers.
